Paid for by Maggie Cromeens, Campaign Treasurer for Brian Cromeens for 24th Judicial District Attorney Campaign and authorized by Brian Cromeens.
Attorney Brian Cromeens announced today he will seek the Republican nomination for District Attorney in the 24th Judicial District and is inviting everyone to his September 26th Kickoff at the Chisum Trail Heritage Museum.
“Today I am taking the next step in my career by entering the race to be your next District Attorney,” Cromeens stated.”
Brian Cromeens is a multi-generation Texan living and practicing law in Cuero, Texas who believes government offices and taxpayer monies are best managed with conservative Republican principles.
“Being an able steward of the people’s hard-earned tax dollars allows the District Attorney the opportunity to be effective in the war against crime in our communities,” Cromeens continued.
Brian Cromeens has represented clients in various matters including criminal cases, insurance and commercial litigation as well as matters of probate and family law. He currently offices in Cuero, Texas, and is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. Brian is also admitted to practice in the Western District of the United States District Court. He has also been admitted to the Texas Bar College by the Society of Legal Scholars. Since 2019, Brian has been consistently chosen by his peers to be recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star.
“My family and my connections to our communities fuel my desire to improve the safety of the citizens of the 24th Judicial District. I am driven by the philosophy that the District Attorney’s primary constitutional and statutory responsibility is to see that justice is done. Justice for the victims of crimes and justice for our communities at large. Put simply, I will hold criminals personally responsible for their actions.”
Cromeens will address the current problems in the District Attorney’s office later in the campaign, but he has immediate concerns about the use of the District Attorney’s Narcotics Fund to fund a lawsuit against DeWitt County.
“It is irresponsible to waste funds earmarked for law enforcement - money that could be used to buy bullet proof vests and other equipment for our officers – on suing our own county. Cromeens concluded.
Brian currently lives in Cuero, Texas with his wife, Maggie, and their three children: Hayes (9), Libby (3) and Ruby (1). Maggie and Brian devote a great deal of time, effort, and resources to various community endeavors. In addition to his law practice, Brian serves as a board member for the Cuero Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, the Cuero Sportsman’s Club, and the St. Michael’s Catholic School Advisory Committee. Brian is a licensed associate auctioneer and enjoys volunteering with several local churches and charities. Brian’s remaining free time is devoted to shooting sports and his ever-growing collection of books, artwork and relics related to Texas History.
Again, Brian and his wife Maggie invite the public to attend his September 26th Kickoff at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum in downtown Cuero, Texas at 5:30 p.m.

My name is Brian Michael Cromeens, and I am a fourth generation Texan and attorney living and practicing in Cuero, Texas.
I was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Mineral Wells Texas. I come from a ranching family where hard work was not only valued, but it was also essential to my family’s success. After attending Tyler Junior College, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Leadership and Development. Immediately after graduation I spent over a year working in both the United States House of Representatives and the Texas House of Representatives working primarily on legislation affecting rural development. I applied and was accepted into St. Mary’s University School of Law. At St. Mary’s I excelled and was recognized as a superior oral advocate, eventually being inducted into the prestigious Order of the Barristers. Since law school I have represented clients in matters ranging from criminal defense, insurance and commercial litigation, matters of probate and family law. I started my solo practice in January of 2020. With family support and excellent staff, I was able to sustain and thrive throughout the pandemic, eventually purchasing an office in Cuero, Texas. I am currently licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas and admitted to practice in the Western District of the United States District Court. I have also been admitted to the Texas Bar College by the Society of Legal Scholars. Since 2019 I have been consistently chosen by my peers to be recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star.
